What information we collect
Ezy2Exit works entirely on your device. It does not create an account, does not require an internet connection, and does not transmit personal information to our servers.
The only information collected is:
- • Your selected settings within the app (icon style, size, behaviour preference) — stored locally on your device only
- • If you contact us by email, your email address and message content — used only to respond to you
- • If you visit our website, standard server logs may record your IP address and browser type — retained for up to 30 days for security purposes only
What we do not collect
- • We do not read your SMS messages, emails, or any other communications
- • We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
- • We do not track your location
- • We do not collect usage analytics or behavioural data without your explicit opt-in

Third-party services
Our website uses Netlify for hosting and form submissions. If you submit a contact form, your message is processed by Netlify's infrastructure subject to their own privacy policy. We do not share this information with any other third party.
Ezy2Exit does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Children's privacy
Ezy2Exit is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.
App Permissions
Ezy2Exit requests two permissions from your Android device. Here is exactly what each one does and why it is needed.
Display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW)
Why it is needed: This allows the EXIT button to remain visible on your screen while you are using other apps. Without this permission the app cannot function at all.
What we do not use it for: We do not use this permission to read the content of other apps, collect data, or display advertising.
Vibrate (VIBRATE)
Why it is needed: This allows the app to provide a physical confirmation when you press the EXIT button — helping users with vision or dexterity challenges confirm their tap registered.
What we do not use it for: We do not use this for notifications, alerts, or any purpose other than confirming your taps.
Note for Google Play review: Ezy2Exit uses the SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW permission and foreground service type "specialUse" solely to display a persistent accessibility overlay button. The app's core purpose is to help elderly users and people unfamiliar with smartphone navigation exit apps quickly. This permission is essential for the app's primary function and is used for no other purpose.
Your Data Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act and as a matter of principle, you have the right to:

- • Request deletion of your information
- • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
- • Withdraw consent for any optional data collection at any time
Because Ezy2Exit stores all settings locally on your device, you can remove all app data at any time by uninstalling the app. No data remains on our servers.

Data security

- • Not a monitoring or surveillance tool
Ezy2Exit is one useful support among many. It is not designed to replace human care, professional support, or emergency services. Always treat it as a practical convenience tool, not a safety guarantee.
Acceptable use
You may use Ezy2Exit for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or have permission to use. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Ezy2Exit available and functional at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features, design, and pricing may change over time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
Limitation of liability
Ezy2Exit is provided in good faith and to the best of our ability. To the extent permitted by Australian law, Beautiva Pty Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the application. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the product in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

By downloading and using Ezy2Exit you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
